Article Summary

From our homepage, you can use the Browse Koorong menu to browse through popular listings of products. The browse menu is also available on mobile devices via the left pull-out menu at the top of every page.

If you know the title, author, ISBN or Koorong catalogue number of a specific item, you can enter this in the white search box (located at the top of every page) to search for the item. You can narrow your search to a specific type of item by selecting one of the categories attached to the search box. This will help reduce the number of results for common words or authors, or assist when you are looking for a product from a specific department such as Music or Bibles.

Our search results page gives you control to further filter your search by category, format, price, author, theme as well as other specifications. So if you aren’t sure exactly what you are looking for, you can find related items using these options. You can also look through our department pages, categories and subcategories using the search tool. Simply leave the search keywords field blank and select a department in the search bar. You can add an item to your shopping basket or Wishlist directly from the search results page.

Once you have found the item you are looking for, clicking on the image or title will take you to the product information page. The product page lists all the details we have available, including the price, quantity available, how long it will take to ship, product description, reviews and more. At any time if you see an item you would like to order, click the 'Add to Basket’ button near the item, this will store the selected item in your Shopping Basket until you are ready to make your purchase. When you are ready to place your order, simply click ‘Checkout' or 'View Full Basket' on the Shopping Basket drop down menu.

Search Tips

The search bar matches keywords. Keywords are made up of any word/number that appears in the title, author name, catalogue number or isbn. Our keyword search doesn’t match parts of words, only the complete word. Hence entering ‘grace courage’ will return all products that contain the words ‘grace’ and ‘courage’ in either the title and also the author name.

Our search engine ignores inverted commas and other punctuation, it is not possible to search for an exact phrase using double quotes. Instead of this, we suggest that you simply enter as much of the phrase as possible. Similarly using a “ “ sign or “AND” will not have any effect on the search results.

Selecting a department page where possible, and filtering your search, can help to narrow down the number of products that are returned. With over 250,000 products in our database it is easy to generate a large list of products, choosing keywords carefully and selecting categories to search within can save time.
